Evolmotion - Transformation through Movement

Kudlik Dental believes that a healthy body equals healthy teeth! The key to having healthy gums is not only brushing your teeth, but being cautious of what you put into your body and how you treat it.

Our patient Patricia Garza Pinto and her partner Wayne Daniels are co-founders of Evolmotion, located in Irvine, CA. At Evolmotion, they believe it is time to rise up from your slumber, lift yourself from your unhealthy, ailing body and live with passion and purpose. Evolmotion helps you achieve this through the transformation of movement.

Once upon a time when humans could only think abstractly and communicate through body language, we relied on the way we MOVED our bodies to receive perceptive information. This information helped us learn the universal principles of life and  how to reciprocate in harmony with the natural world. By learning this it has helped shape and mold our physical , mental, emotional and spiritual development. Innate movement patterns such as squatting, lunging, pushing, pulling, bending, lifting, walking and running were all needed to survive. Back then, if you didn't integrate these physical skills and develop the body in reflection to daily life challenges, death was imminent.

In today's society, there is little to no need to utilize our body's physical potential. Being overly sedentary and not utilizing our physical potential, results in decreased awareness of the body and mind. In doing so, we bypass basic instinctual life lessons that assist in a healthy whole being and maturity.  In other words, your lack of physical ability is now relative and equal to your mental, emotional and spiritual capacity! A broken or underdeveloped body generally corresponds to heightened stress levels, fearful and irrational thoughts, being excessively emotional and lacking in creative flare and spiritual purpose.

In summary, one is learning to involve the muscular, neurological and skeletal aspects as one neuromusculoskeletal experience. When these conjoining aspects integrate together, healthy myelination of nerve fiber cells is produced for proper nervous system innervation. An optimal nervous system is the heart of health and well being, which is radically neglected with our antiquated western ideology of human movement.

Evolmotion Co-Founder, Wayne Daniels, has been a human movement specialist for 15 years. He believes adopting corrective exercise techniques greatly improves physical stability, strength, energy levels and overall health and well being, gifting him the wisdom to create a healthy and purposeful life. Wayne says, "At Evolmotion, we inspire new beginnings and experiences to assist our clients with individualized health programs to heal their body from the inside out. With 'corrective exercises' and individualized genetic nutrition, we focus on the core foundation for a functional, pain free body and a balanced mind."

The body keeps the score and tells the truth. It is always revealing and expressing where you are within yourself. Your body is your mind! The way you experience reality can change from learning and integrating new movement patterns. This re-establishes posture, elevates diaphragmatic breathing and cognitive function, therefore improving health.

Natural Ways To Help Prevent Cavities!

B eyond good oral hygiene (brushing 2 minutes both in am & pm + flossing BEFORE the bedtime tooth-brushing), these 5 things can keep you decay free! * Xylitol is a natural sweetener that tastes similar to sugar.  6-10g/day can help prevent decay by fooling decay causing bacteria into thinking it is fruit sugar, and essentially starving the bacteria.  These bacteria also become less virulent with continued use over time.   *Water (and other carbohydrate-free beverages) should be your beverage of choice between meals. Enjoy your juices, milks, and even the occasional soda pop with your meal, when your teeth are already dirty.  If you are unable to brush your teeth after a meal, you should minimally rinse your mouth with water.  * Limit your frequency of eating to 3 meals a day plus 2-3 protein snacks like nuts and cheeses; these are anti- decay foods (nuts may be raw or roasted, but not honey - or sugar coasted). * Brush with baking soda ...

Genetics vs Environment Article by Dr. Cindy

“I Have Soft Teeth Like My Mom” Are your teeth susceptible to tooth decay due to your genetic makeup or to your environmental influences? Let’s take a quick look at both sides: Genetics It is well known that you are made up of DNA from both of your parents, and as a result you inherit certain traits from each of them! Perhaps you have your mom’s eyes and your dad’s chin…and perhaps one of your parent’s genes dominates what your teeth are shaped like from the outside, and the other how they are constructed from the inside. But how does that really affect you? Let’s take a look at the anatomy of a tooth. Your teeth are made up of layers:  Enamel is the hard, outer shell; Dentin is the yellow, middle layer; the Pulp chamber is the pink and red inner core of your teeth where the nerve and blood supply reside. The mineral-rich enamel is the first and outer line of defense against decay, protecting your teeth from the surrounding acids. Teeth resist deca...
